Based on latest figures, the population of centenarians in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024. Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the same years, the number of female centenarians nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600. We are excited to receive stories from individuals who have reached 100, their family or friends, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s major happenings and developments.
